🗓️ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Shimla to Narkanda | Local Sightseeing

• Pickup from Shimla
• Scenic drive to Narkanda through pine forests
• Visit Hatu Peak (if accessible) and Stokes Farm
• Check-in to hotel/homestay and rest
• Evening walk in apple orchards

🛏️ Overnight in Narkanda

Day 2: Narkanda – Sangla via Sarahan

• Depart after breakfast
• Stop at Sarahan to visit the Bhimakali Temple
• Continue towards Sangla through winding roads and river valleys
• Reach Sangla by evening

Day 3: Sangla – Chitkul Excursion

• Morning visit to Kamru Fort
• Drive to Chitkul, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibet border
• Enjoy riverside walk by the Baspa River
• Return to Sangla and explore local market

Day 4: Sangla – Tabo via Nako & Gue

• Early breakfast and departure
• Cross Karcham Dam, drive through changing landscapes
• Stop at Nako Lake and Nako Monastery
• Visit the Gue Mummy Monastery (housing a 500-year-old mummy)
• Arrive at Tabo, check-in

Day 5: Tabo Sightseeing – Drive to Kaza

• Visit Tabo Monastery, often called the Ajanta of the Himalayas
• Explore caves, frescoes, and the surrounding village

Day 7: Kaza – Kalpa

• Cross Nako and Kinnaur region again

Day 8: Kalpa Sightseeing – Drive back to Shimla
